Consulting exclusively for armored cars

São Paulo · Nationwide delivery

Buy the right armored car, with a report on the armoring, proven provenance and a fair price.

We work only with armored vehicles. We search, inspect the armoring and the car across more than 150 items, check the Certificado de Registro (the CR, which registers an armored vehicle with the Brazilian Army) and the rest of the paperwork, then negotiate for you, so your family drives protected without overpaying for armoring that was badly done.

Why an armored car

Brazil is one of the largest armoring markets in the world, precisely because urban routine here calls for reinforced security. Armoring stopped being a luxury: it's a way of looking after whoever rides with you.

Real ballistic protection

Level III-A armoring holds up against fire from handguns, pistols and revolvers, the standard best suited to urban risk in Brazil.

Calm in traffic

It cuts the sense of exposure when you stop at lights, at intersections and in areas with more armed robbery and express kidnapping.

Sound insulation

The extra layers of glass and opaque material make the cabin noticeably quieter and more comfortable day to day.

Opportunity among used cars

Armored cars a few years old tend to depreciate sharply, so you can buy one for close to, or even less than, the equivalent model without armoring.

Peace of mind

Knowing that you and your family are protected changes how you drive: more attention on the road, less on possible threats.

A technical choice, not an emotional one

We evaluate the armoring shop, the age of the armoring, the warranty, the added weight and its effect on suspension, brakes and fuel use before we recommend the purchase.

What we evaluate in an armored car

Buying an armored car takes two inspections: one of the car, one of the armoring. We do both, in person.

Protection level

III-A is the level cleared for civilian use and the most common in the country: it protects against handgun ammunition. We explain what it covers, and what it doesn't.

Armoring shop and history

We check the armoring shop's reputation, the date of the job, the invoices, whether the warranty is still valid, and whether anything has been reworked or repaired.

Glass, ballistic layers and opaque panels

We look for delamination and bubbles in the glass, the state of the ballistic layers, the door seals, whether the windows still work, and the structural reinforcements.

Paperwork and CR

We check the Certificado de Registro with the Army and the paperwork compliance of the armored vehicle, so the transfer doesn't turn into a legal problem.

Mechanical impact

Armoring adds hundreds of kilos: we evaluate suspension, brakes, tires, transmission and any sign of fatigue caused by the extra weight.

Market price

We compare against equivalent armored cars, so you don't pay a premium for armoring that's old, expired or below par.

Who this consulting service is for

We take on a limited number of clients each month, so the inspection and the negotiation hold the same standard for everyone.

It's for you if

  • You drive through high-risk areas, keep to predictable routes, or carry your family every day.
  • You're putting R$ 150,000 or more into an armored car, new, used, or armored at the factory.
  • You want a technical report on the armoring before you sign any proposal.
  • You don't have time to visit lots and go through dozens of listings for armored cars.

It's not for you if

  • You only want the cheapest armored car on the market, with no technical criteria.
  • You want to armor a car on impulse, without weighing use, extra weight and upkeep.
  • You'd rather close the deal with no in-person inspection of the armoring.

How our armored car consulting works

A process run by a specialist, from first contact to the car in your garage.

  1. 01

    Security briefing

We go over your routine, your routes, how many passengers you carry and your budget, then define the model and the armoring level that fit.

  2. 02

    Search across armored car sources

We look through dealerships, specialized lots, armoring shops and private sellers, including opportunities that stay off the radar.

  3. 03

    Armoring inspection

Glass, ballistic layers, opaque panels, seals, warranty and armoring shop evaluated in person, alongside the 150+ item inspection of the car.

  4. 04

    Provenance and CR

We check history, accident records, liens and the Certificado de Registro, so the transfer holds no surprises.

  5. 05

    Technical negotiation

We negotiate price and terms based on the real condition of the armoring and on market references.

  6. 06

    Supported closing

We follow the paperwork and the delivery through to the keys of your armored car in your hand.

What you avoid with an armored car specialist

Armoring badly done or past its validity

Delaminated glass, ballistic layers out of date and work from armoring shops with no reputation all undercut the protection you paid for.

An armored car that's been wrecked or patched up

The extra weight hides structural fatigue and repairs. We spot the signs before you buy.

Irregular paperwork

Without the CR and a clean history, transferring an armored car stalls and the deal becomes a legal problem.

Prices above market

Plenty of listings charge a premium for old armoring. We negotiate on technical grounds, not on hunches.

Clients who have already bought an armored car with us

I wanted armoring because of the routes my daughter takes. I got three SUVs, already armored and inspected, and closed in two weeks.
Client, level III-A armored SUV
The inspection found delaminated glass and an expired ballistic layer on a car I was about to buy. That alone paid for the consulting.
Client, armored sedan
I bought a used armored car for the price of an equivalent without armoring, with the CR in order.

Frequently asked questions about armored cars

Which armoring level is recommended?
For civilian use in Brazil, level III-A is the standard: it holds up against ammunition from handguns, pistols and revolvers, which covers the most common scenario of armed robbery and express kidnapping.
Is it better to buy an armored car or to armor one later?
It depends on the model, the timeline and the budget. Used armored cars tend to depreciate sharply and can come out close to, or even below, the price of an equivalent car without armoring. We weigh both routes in the briefing.
How do I know the armoring was done well?
We check the armoring shop, the invoices, the date of the job, whether the warranty is still valid, delamination in the glass, the state of the ballistic layers, the seals and the reinforcements, always in person.
Does armoring require special paperwork?
Yes. An armored vehicle needs a Certificado de Registro with the Army, plus its paperwork in order. We check that before the negotiation, to avoid the transfer getting stuck.
Does armoring harm the car?
The extra weight calls for attention to suspension, brakes, tires and fuel use. We evaluate whether the model you chose carries the armoring well, and what condition those items are in.
Do you serve clients outside São Paulo?
Yes. We're based in São Paulo, home to Brazil's largest supply of armored cars, and that's where we inspect the armoring and the car in person. Once an armored car is approved, we deliver it to any state in Brazil and follow the paperwork through to the keys in your hand.
Do you sell me the car?
No. We're not a dealership and we're not an armoring shop: we represent you as the buyer, which keeps the evaluation and the negotiation completely impartial.

There's no such thing as too much protection. Let the right armored car come to you.
